We are moving!

Hey.... long time no see. I don't know if you know.. but some of us from seeker's planet started a new band called "October Light". We are working on our first release that will come out May 2006. More info soon available on www.octoberlight.net. And I will start writing the octoberlight blogs on www.myspace.com/octoberlight because we are updating the shows and music there.. so it takes up a lot of time to update both! Check it out!  Spock out! :)

We are back from the states! Here is the last info on the tour that we had.

After Leonard, we drove to Asheville and around 5:30 AM our car caught on fire as we where approaching a gas station. It was nothing big but it was the first time it happened ever so everybody thought of movies and how cars explode so we ran out of the van like it is going to explode. What really happened is that some oil dripped on the exhaust lines (which are very hot) and it started to smoke.. and it was like a bigger candle fire).. it took a little push on the fire extinguisher and the fire was out in a moment..

Asheville was a great show. We played in a church and where filling in for Bret with the Supertones because he couldn't make it to the show. The day after it was 2 days off again and we played Soccer with our host Jerry in Maryville. He never played before I think and we let him enjoy all the pleasures of it (like scoring :) ).

Huntington was a club next to a railroad, weird.. you had to walk a few meters and you where on the rails. The show was also good. We stayed at a Campus Missions House and had great pasta!

Our last show was in Annapolis. Chris, the bass player and road manager gave us the wrong address so we ended up in an other city.. but fortunately it was only a 30 minutes drive to the venue. The show there was one of the best in the USA. A lot of people liked us and talked to us afterwards.. Some of them thought we where the supertones, which was funny :).  Our last day in  the States was sightseeing and we have seen it all. :)

The States where a great experience, many new friends, many new fans and many stories.
We are all thankful for that and have seen that God has provided us with everything and more then we needed on this trip. And we felt his presence and guidance during the trip.

We want to thank everyone who was having us in his prayers! Spock Out!

There are so many pictures we took, I have over 1 GB of pictures on my disk.. and those are not all pictures... we took some of the last impressions and put them on here.

Hi,

I am back with an update on our tour… I have new pictures and new stories.

We were in Nashville, the center of the Music Industry in the WORLD!!! We were there at Mojo’s house for two days and visited all the important sights in Nashville.

Nashville from the rear!

Then we went to play in IOWA, Central College in Pella and it was a very nice time.

Check out our poster on Central College in Pella

After that we went to Chicago, a little sightseeing adventure. On the way to Chicago Nikola asked us to go see on of the most famous houses in the world (he is studying architecture) so we went there and guess what. IT WAS CLOSED! It is a Museum and he thought it is a private house. BUMMER!

The closest Nikola came to his Dream.

Then we went to Chicago and it was totally cool. It was fun to spend a few hours in one of the famous American cities.

This is a bar in Chicago... proof we were there. Did anybody watch

Police Academy - Blue Oyster

We played in Leonard, Michigan and it was an open air festival. It was very nice and now we are in a Holiday Inn Hotel!!!! Cool ha?

We have three more shows and then we are back home.

Yesterday we played a show in Atlanta, GA. It was not that many people but it was fun. At the end of the day we went to sleep in a hotel. We got three rooms and the Supertones drummer made it somehow to trigger the safety loch from inside so you couldn't get inside the room even with a key. Filip managed somehow to pull his hand trough the opening in the door and wrapped the hairdryer cable that was on the wall to the safety lock, so when we closed the door, the safety lock opened. MacGyver Style!!!! Our bones and muscles still hurt from the wet n wild park but we are getting better. We visited Atlanta Olympic Park and Rock City above Chattanooga, TN. We are now in Nashville and will have a few days off. Our next show is on Thursday or Saturday. We will see, but if something interesting happens, we will keep you informed :). Until then. Spock out!!

I'm back! We didn't have Internet for a while and had to sort out all the pictures so now I am back with all the stories and stuff that happened to us.

A picture from first (unofficial) show in USA. Maryville, TN

As all of you know, we had a show in Jacksonville on Thursday and where in Maryville the day before (to get from Maryville to Jacksonville is about 10 hours of nonstop driving). Our problem was that our jewel boxes and CDs where sent to the right address but the wrong city, to Tullahoma which is 3 hours from Maryville. That is why we had to wake up on Thursday morning 1 AM to drive to Tullahoma’s UPS Ground Service Station and wait for the guys to unload 7500 Packages and to find our CDs. The problem was it could be in the first or the last trailer of 8 trailers they had to unload (and those where big trailers). Fortunately it was not the last one, but not the first one either. We where waiting 2,5 hours for them to find the 14 boxes.

The Guys from the UPS Ground Service .. about 6:30 in the morning

We left Tullahoma around 7 AM and left to Jacksonville. On the way to Jacksonville we

assembled 1700 CDs and it took us 8 hours to do it.

We agreed with the Supertones to come around 4 PM but our car was overheating because of the hot Florida weather so we had to drive slowly and came around 6 PM. After a quick sound check, some food and setting up the merch table, it was our time to play. We started playing and some of the crowd was just standing, some where jumping in the back, some where listening (what else to expect form a crowd that never heard us), but after the show a lot of people told us that we where GREAT so I guess that people liked us.

So after almost 24 hours awake and on the road, we where totally exhausted. The promoter of the concert, Tony, invited us to his house to sleep over. He had a pool and a HOT TUB. That was a great way to close the day .

The hot tub actually changes lights from red all to over to green..

The next day we where hanging out at Tony’s, going to a shopping mall with a BOAT and HUNTING ALLIGATORS!!! Yes, that is true… he lives on a river and there are some gators swimming around in the uninhabited part of the river.

Last I have to report is that yesterday we where in a Water Park in Orlando called Wet N Wild. It was a lot of WET and a lot of WILD fun. My neck and all my muscles hurt…
